About Us
Although Lockdoor Canada was founded in 2001, the story began fourty six years earlier in 1955 when Phil Clappison, a young tool and die maker in Georgetown Ontario began selling aluminum storm doors in the evenings after work. Within 3 years he co-founded Viceroy Aluminum Ltd, a window manufacturer based in Guelph Ontario with two other partners.
